At GIANNIVINO we bake La Colomba the way it is done in Italy - slowly, with respect for time and for each ingredient.
The dough is born from levito madre - a live sourdough that ripens naturally.
To it we add Manitoba flour, water, eggs, butter, honey, salt, sugar, rye malt and vanilla to create a delicate, aromatic structure.
Inside are candied oranges and milk chocolate, and on top are crispy almond glaze and sugar grains, which give the same festive taste.
Each La Colomba goes through a long baking process to bring a dessert that embodies the Italian spring to your table.
